Sainik school entrance exam Class 6th eligibility criteria:

  • Class 6th admission is for both boys and girls.

  • The number of seats for boys is more as compared to girls.

  • The admission for class 6th via AISSEE 2022, the aspirants must be between 10-12 years as of March 31, 2022. You must be born between April 1st, 2010, and March 31, 2021.

 

Sainik School Class 9th eligibility Criteria:

  • The admission for class 9th is open for boys. The aspirants must study in class 8th from a recognized school so that they can register for admission to class 9th Sainik School.

  • The age of the students must be between 13-15 years as of March 31, 2022. He must be born between April 1, 2007, and March 31, 2009. 


 

 

Steps for filling Sainik school Application form 2022-23

The application form for admission to Sainik School 2022023 is released online on the official website. The submission of the application form can be completed in just two steps.

 

Step 1: Online registration

  • You can visit the official website and click on the application form link of Sainik School.

  • You will be directed to a new page where you can click the new registration button.

  • You can click on the disclaimer box.

  • Fill in the details in the specified form and generate a password and select a security question.

  • Enter security pin or captcha code.

Sainik School Reservation for class 6 and 9

  • 15 percent of the total seats are for Scheduled Castes.

  • 7 ½ percent seats are reserved for Scheduled Tribes.

  • 67 percent of the seats are reserved for boys from the State in which the Sainik Schools is located.

  • 25 percent of seats are reserved for children of service personnel including Ex-servicemen.

  • The application fee of AISSEE 2022 for the General and Defense Category will be Rs.400

Sainik School Admission 2022 procedure

The admission in Sainik School is done on merit for classes 6th and 9th. If the entrance exam cannot be conducted in UT or state due to administrative issues, a separate order is given for conducting the Entrance exam on a fixed date by Honorary Secretary. 

 

Sainik School entrance exam paper pattern

The entrance exam for admission to Sainik School 2022-23 is through pen and paper mode. The student must secure a minimum of 25 percent marks in every subject and 40 percent marks in total for qualifying for AISSEE 2022. There is no reservation for SC or ST students for qualifying exams. There is no negative marking in AISSEE 2022.

Sainik School Class 6th Syllabus 

 

  • Maths section contains 50 questions of 150 marks. Below we are discussing certain important topics that need to be studied- Natural numbers, conversion of units, LCM & HCF, Unitary method, Roman numerals, types of angles, fractions, ratio & proportion, profit & loss, simplification, percentage, area, and perimeter, average, simple interest, lines & angles, circle, temperature, the volume of cubes & cuboids, plane figures, decimal numbers, speed & time, complementary & supplementary angles, arranging of fractions. 

 

  • The intelligence section consists of 25 questions and various topics that need to be discussed are: Analogies, visual, classification, logic, reasoning, and pattern.

 

  • The English language consists of various topics that are discussed below- Preposition, comprehension passage, antonyms, sentence formation, articles, adjectives, synonyms, vocabulary, verbs ad type, interjection, Idiom and phrases, confusing words, question tags, collective nouns, type of sentence, number, kinds of nouns, tense forms, number, singular or plural, kinds of pronouns, ordering words in sentence, correct spelling, rhyming words and gender. 

 

  • Hindi subject will have various concepts in गद्यांश, विशेषण की पहचान. संज्ञा के भेदों की पहचान and मुहावरे, विलोम शब्द, पर्यायवाची शब्द, संधि, समास, क्रिया, and उपसर्ग. अशुद्धिशोधन (वाक्य), श्रतिसमभिन्नार्थक शब्द, क्रिया विशेषण की पहचान, वचन बदलना, काल, अर्थ के आधार पर वाक्य भेद, वाच्य परिवर्तन and सर्वनाम की पहचान. लिंग बदलना, वर्ण विचार, वाक्य विचार, लोकोक्तियाँ, वर्तनी शुद्धि and प्रत्यय.
